Almost everything in my life follows a drive, a deeper purpose. I help profit-oriented companies and institutions navigate the challenges of capitalist everyday life and, in return, receive the financial means to make a living. I support nonprofit organizations in their socially relevant endeavors and, in return, gain recognition and the sense of having done something meaningful. And I assist individuals in moving a step closer to their personal happiness. For this, in addition to financial compensation, I often receive the gratitude of those who bravely embark on the journey toward a more fulfilling life.
And because all of this is always in direct relationship with my surroundings, there is, in return, the artist within me - who follows only my inner processes and no one else. My art is an expression of my inner world. It is not meant to please. The focus is not on the finished work but on the process of its creation. Art is the missing puzzle piece in my Ikigai.
Why do I still choose to show it here? Well, it is simply a part of me. And even though it is not my intention, perhaps it might serve as inspiration for the next step - wherever that may lead.
